Howard

An American author of short stories about abnormalities and remote realms of imagination and horror, including "The Defilers" and "The House of the Worm." He was a tall, slim man with a slight stoop and abnormally broad shoulders. He had a broad forehead, long nose, and slightly protuberant chin. He witnessed the invasion of the space-eaters in Mulligan Wood, and became obsessed with trying to capture the horror in a story. Unfortunately, his success made him vulnerable to the Master of the light, which killed him. [FBL Eaters (online text)]
