Book of Iod

An "abhorrent and monstrous volume of ancient esoteric formulae about which curious legends still cling." The original volume was written in the pre-human Ancient Tongue; it is said that only a single copy still exists. There is an expurgated, but still forbidden translation by Johann Negus (date unknown).

The Huntington Library has a copy of the Negus translation. Denton viewed the book there, and copied a passage about the Dark Silent One, Zushakon. Denton, Ross, and Arthur Todd concluded that the passage is connected with the legends of the San Xavier bells. [HK Bells (online text)]

Given the book's title, it most likely includes information about Iod the Shining Hunter.
